With Be My Valentine, I wanted to step away from detailed realism and embrace something rough, expressive, and a little mischievous. This piece captures the raw and exaggerated emotions of love through two quirky, almost grotesque faces, baring toothy grins and wide, manic eyes. The humorous contrast between the title and the unsettling yet oddly endearing expressions is meant to poke fun at traditional romantic gestures. It’s inviting the viewer to laugh and enjoy the imperfect chaos of affection, especially when you are uncertain as to which character is uttering the words.

Framed Prints

Our sturdy wooden framed posters come ready to hang and are printed on heavyweight white matte paper with a smooth, luxurious finish—designed to stand the test of time:

  • Ready-to-hang: Includes hanging kit, ready to hang directly on the wall.
  • Frame Material: Durable pine wood.
  • Frame Measurements: 20-25mm (0.79″-0.98″) thick, 10-14mm (0.4″-0.6″) wide.
  • Paper Weight: 200 gsm (80 lb), thickness: 0.22 mm (8.7 mils).
  • Paper Finishing: Matte, smooth, non-reflective surface.
  • Protection: Shatterproof plexiglass protects the poster.

Packaging

The posters are placed within frames upon arrival. The frames come pre-packed with corners and wrap and then packed in a box with strong edges to protect the frames. I-beams are used in addition, to give the package additional sturdiness and for multi-item orders (max 3 frames in one package).

Unframed Prints

This premium matte paper is heavier-weight, white, and features a smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxuriously soft to the touch:
