With Owl Eyes, I aimed to immerse the viewer in the quiet, commanding presence of a Great Grey Owl. The orange eyes and beak were my focal points, their brightness contrasting with the subtle, concentric patterns of soft black and white feathers. I wanted to create a sense of stillness and power, as though the owl’s gaze could stop you in your tracks, and hold you there. By radiating delicate feather textures outward from the eyes, I sought to emphasize both the owl’s intricate beauty and its quiet authority, drawing the viewer into a moment of awe and connection.

Framed Prints

Our sturdy wooden framed posters come ready to hang and are printed on heavyweight white matte paper with a smooth, luxurious finish—designed to stand the test of time:

  • Ready-to-hang: Includes hanging kit, ready to hang directly on the wall.
  • Frame Material: Durable pine wood.
  • Frame Measurements: 20-25mm (0.79″-0.98″) thick, 10-14mm (0.4″-0.6″) wide.
  • Paper Weight: 200 gsm (80 lb), thickness: 0.22 mm (8.7 mils).
  • Paper Finishing: Matte, smooth, non-reflective surface.
  • Protection: Shatterproof plexiglass protects the poster.
  • Sustainable Paper: FSC-certified materials or equivalent.

Packaging

The posters are placed within frames upon arrival. The frames come pre-packed with corners and wrap and then packed in a box with strong edges to protect the frames. I-beams are used in addition, to give the package additional sturdiness and for multi-item orders (max 3 frames in one package).

Unframed Prints

This premium matte paper is heavier-weight, white, and features a smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxuriously soft to the touch:

  • Paper Finishing: Matte, smooth, non-reflective surface.
  • Paper Weight: 200 gsm (80 lb), thickness: 0.26 mm (10.3 mils).
  • Sustainable Paper: FSC-certified or equivalent paper for sustainability.

Packaging

Different packaging depending on the size of the poster as well as the country where the item is produced and shipped to.
Standard packaging for posters is:

  • Flat for posters up to A4
  • Tube for posters above A4
